Maybe we didn’t do the wisest thing.
Maybe we didn’t do the smartest thing.
But we did the thing we were encouraged to by everyone but you.

So, if all around our wide white cloud, gray skies appear.
Remember, we could have been anywhere we chose to be right here.

A February morning; it’s going to be cold for sure.
We don’t mind about the climb.
Cause we’re going to get married.

My name is Alfred I was born in a small town diner.
And now I live in a loft above Gailey’s.
And when I smile, the waitresses shake my hand.
And when I frown the cooks turn around and say, “hello.”

Yesterday I decided to eat at home.
I thought a thirty-three year old man should be able to eat alone.
So I made myself some pancakes with blueberries.
And tested out my mature theories.
